Replacement Hinge Kit for SSC Pro-Series Doors

Replace worn, bent, or damaged hinge hardware on a compatible SSC Pro-Series door with a complete steel hinge kit. Each kit supplies the paired male posts and female bases needed for one door, along with mounting hardware. Select the hinge type and handing that match the door already on the machine; SSC uses more than one hinge pattern across the Pro-Series line.

Should I order Type 1 or Type 2?

Type 1 is the standard choice for many flat Pro-Series doors when the product listing or existing hardware does not call for Type 2. Type 2 is used on the following Pro-Series applications:

• Bobcat M-Series machines
• John Deere machines
• Case and New Holland Alpha Max machines
• ASV RT models
• Gehl machines

Model family alone may not settle the choice when a door has been replaced, modified, or fitted with earlier hardware. Compare the shape, offset, base, and mounting points on the existing hinges before ordering.

How do I choose the hinge orientation?

Stand outside the cab and face the closed door. Choose Right Hand when the hinges are on your right from that position. Choose Left Hand when the hinges are on your left. Do not use the operator's seated view to select the option; that reverses the apparent side.

What comes in one kit?

• Two male hinge posts
• Two female hinge bases
• Two hinge spacer blocks with Type 1 kits
• Four bolts, washers, and nylon locking nuts

The steel parts have a black powder-coated finish. One selected kit services one compatible door. Review the door, latch, seal, and frame separately so another damaged component does not prevent proper alignment.

What should I check before installation?

Support the door before removing hinge hardware. Compare both old and new hinge pieces, inspect the mounting area for cracks or distortion, and confirm left/right handing. Start all fasteners before final tightening, align the door to the striker and perimeter seal, then cycle it slowly. The door should open freely, close without binding, and latch without forcing the handle.
