Look for an SSC Pro-Series polycarbonate door rather than ordering from the skid steer make alone. A Bobcat, Case, Caterpillar, Kubota, or other machine may have a factory door, an SSC retrofit, or another aftermarket enclosure, and those systems do not automatically share handle geometry.

The key should turn without forcing the cylinder, and the latch should release without loading the polycarbonate panel.

If the door is difficult to close, correct hinge or striker alignment before blaming the handle. A misaligned door can put unnecessary pressure on the latch and new hardware.
