THE STINGER SPIRAL SPLITTER | ETERRA

Don't want to spend thousands of dollars on a dedicated log splitter? Check out the Eterra Stinger log splitter!  The Stinger is a spiral log splitter that is designed to tear apart logs, making them easy to handle and move! It will  fit on all Eterra Auger drives and will work on other auger drives that feature a 2" Hex output shaft. If you are splitting hard woods make sure that you have the 3500 or 4500 auger drive so you have enough torque (2700 ft. lbs and up) so your splitter doesn't become stuck. 

 

It is very easy to attach the Stinger to your Auger Attachment. All you have to do is unpin the current auger bit, and pin the Stinger on instead! The Stinger is also much cheaper than a full splitter, and can save you thousands of dollars! All you do is put the splitter over the log you are working on, engage your hydraulics, and split away! Starter tip will feed the splitter into the log to keep it from overloading, and as it feeds into the log, it will force it to split. This design is superior to many other splitters because it doesn't build up heat. Splitters that build up heat and transfer the heat to your auger, leading to blown seals.
