Eterra Stinger Log Splitter – Auger Attachment

Looking for a powerful log splitter without spending thousands on a dedicated machine? The Eterra Stinger Log Splitter is the perfect solution. This heavy-duty spiral log splitter attaches directly to your skid steer or excavator auger drive, turning your existing auger into a cost-effective wood splitting tool.

Designed to tear apart hardwood logs quickly and safely, the Stinger makes logs easier to handle, stack, and transport. It fits all Eterra Auger drives and most auger drives with a 2" hex output shaft. For splitting dense hardwoods, we recommend the 3500 or 4500 auger drive (2,700 ft. lbs. torque or higher) to prevent jamming.

Why Choose the Stinger Log Splitter?

  • Affordable alternative to a standalone hydraulic log splitter – save thousands of dollars.

  • Quick attachment: just unpin your auger bit, pin on the Stinger, and you’re ready to split.

  • Efficient spiral design: starter tip feeds smoothly into the log to prevent overload.

  • Protects your auger drive: unlike traditional splitters, the Stinger does not build excess heat, helping avoid blown seals and costly repairs.

  • Built for professionals: ideal for forestry, firewood processing, land clearing, and farm use.

How It Works

Simply position the Stinger over the log, engage your machine’s hydraulics, and let the spiral cone design feed itself into the wood. As it advances, the log splits apart with controlled force. The result: faster splitting, less downtime, and safer operation compared to chainsaws or grinders.
