Product Description
Case Fast-Tach Coupler Plate 222423A1
Restore the attachment interface on an older Case skid steer with a replacement Fast-Tach coupler plate. This plate mounts at the loader arms and replaces Case number 222423A1, giving the machine the correct carrier-side structure for Fast-Tach attachment changes.
Confirmed Case model coverage
The plate is listed for Case 1835, 1835B, 1835C, 1838, and 1840 skid steers. Those model names overlap several production years and linkage arrangements, so inspect the current carrier before ordering. Match the 222423A1 number and compare the pin locations, latch layout, and loader-arm connection. For an uncertain or modified machine, send SSC clear photos of the old plate and machine serial tag through our parts support page.
Know which component is being replaced
This is the coupler plate on the machine, not a weld-on blank for the back of an attachment. It is intended as an interchange replacement for the original Fast-Tach plate. Replace a plate that is bent, cracked, badly worn at the wedge or pin areas, or no longer holds an attachment squarely. Do not use a new plate to hide worn pins, bushings, latch parts, or damaged loader arms.
Conversion and installation notes
Some early pin-on or bolted-frame configurations may require a separate conversion pin kit in addition to 222423A1. Confirm the existing arrangement before the machine is taken apart. Specialist records list the plate at about 220 lb, and the SSC catalog marks it for LTL freight. Use rated lifting equipment, support the loader arms, follow the Case service procedure, and have the finished latch engagement checked before returning the machine to work.
Questions buyers ask
Will it fit a Case 1845C? The verified list for this plate stops at the 1840; do not order it for an 1845C without a separate parts lookup.
Does it include pins and latch hardware? This listing identifies the replacement coupler plate. Pins or conversion components are not stated as included.
Why verify the old linkage? Earlier machines can have pin-on, bolted, or modified carriers that need additional parts.
