Product Description
Haugen Fork Extensions for Telehandlers and Forklifts
Add reach to compatible forklift, telehandler, and lift-truck tines with full-tube Haugen fork extensions. Each extension slides over the host tine and pins in place. A 45-degree entry bevel helps the extended tine enter pallets.
Select by extension length, tube size, host-tine limit, pair capacity, and required host-tine length. Capacity ratings below apply to the pair, not one extension. The host machine and forks must also be rated for the load at the new load center.

Selection and operating checks
- Measure each host tine's width, thickness, and usable blade length.
- Match the extension model, not length alone; models at the same length carry different tube limits and ratings.
- Check the carrier load chart at the longer load center created by the extension.
- Install both retaining pins and inspect them before lifting.
- Keep the load centered on the pair and stay within the lowest applicable machine, fork, or extension rating.
Long extensions place more force on the fork carriage and reduce maneuvering clearance. Travel with the load low, use a spotter where visibility is limited, and avoid side loading or dragging the extensions.
Frequently asked questions
Is MFE 6255 the 72 or 90 in. model?
MFE 6255 is the 72 in. model. MFE 7255 is the 90 in. model with the same nominal tube size.
Are the published capacities for one extension?
No. Haugen states the capacities per pair. The host forks and carrier may impose a lower limit.
What measurements should I send SSC?
Send the carrier model, fork width, fork thickness, usable tine length, required extension length, load weight, and load-center details through the SSC contact page.
