Haugen Bolt-On Grapple for Skid Steer Buckets
Add hydraulic clamping to a compatible skid steer bucket, manure fork, or rock bucket with the Haugen MBOG 59-84 bolt-on grapple. The assembly is sized for many buckets from 59 to 84 in. wide and can be moved between compatible Haugen bucket and tine-fork setups. Measure the host attachment and review its structure before ordering or drilling.
What bucket sizes are listed?
Haugen lists the MBOG 59-84 for most skid steer buckets in the 59 to 84 in. width range. The grapple itself is 52.5 in. wide, opens to 44 in., and weighs 225 lb. Width alone does not confirm fit. Compare the bucket's top rail, back profile, lip geometry, and available mounting area with the installation requirements.

The standard variant is listed without couplers. Select the flush-face coupler variant only after confirming the machine's hydraulic connection. Hoses, routing, and protective sleeves should be checked against the host bucket and loader travel before use.
Will it work on a manure fork or rock bucket?
Haugen identifies manure forks and rock buckets as common applications. On a utility or manure fork, the grapple opens to approximately 42 in. and closes about 3 in. past the tines. Confirm that the mounting surface can carry the grapple loads and that the closed arm clears the tines, bucket edge, and machine linkage.
What should be checked before installation?
Measure the bucket width and mounting area, inspect the attachment for cracks or prior repairs, and confirm the loader's auxiliary hydraulics and coupler type. Account for the grapple's 225 lb weight in the machine's rated operating capacity. Installation should follow Haugen's instructions, with all holes, fasteners, hoses, and stops checked before pressure is applied. Cycle the empty attachment at low speed and verify full clearance before handling material.
