Product Description

12-Volt Electric Wiper Kit for Polycarbonate Cab Doors

Keep a working view through an SSC cab door with a compact electric wiper package built around a 12-volt motor, adjustable arm, and right-parking sweep. The kit was developed for polycarbonate skid steer enclosure doors and can also suit compatible excavator, tractor, and side-by-side panels when the mounting surface and electrical system match.

This is not a direct OEM wiper-motor replacement. Factory glass, splined shafts, bolt patterns, and wiring can differ even when the finished wiper looks similar. Measure the panel and compare the mounting layout before drilling.

Wiper dimensions and sweep

  • 1-1/2-inch motor shaft for standard and thicker forestry-style polycarbonate doors.
  • 55-degree wiper angle.
  • 13-3/4-inch wiper blade.
  • Adjustable arm from 11 to 15 inches.
  • Approximate adjustable sweep from 21 to 24 inches.
  • Right-parking action that stops the blade away from the normal sight line.

Before mounting, hold the arm and blade against the intended location through the full 55-degree arc. Does the blade stay on the clear panel? Will it clear the door frame, handle, and seal? Is the parked blade outside the operator's main view? Establish the motor location from those checks rather than drilling from a generic diagram.

Motor, switch, and wiring

The toggle switch sits on the back of the motor where the operator can reach it. A six-foot lead with an integrated fuse and holder runs toward the cab power source, and plastic wrap protects the wire. The motor housing is made for wet cab-door use.

Confirm a suitable 12-volt circuit, fuse placement, grounding, and wire route before connection. Leave enough slack for door movement, then secure the wire away from hinges, latches, sharp edges, and operator controls.

Fit check before ordering

SSC normally uses this kit with its polycarbonate enclosure doors. One documented Mustang 940 question was directed back to the dealer because the factory glass system used a different motor and bolt pattern. If the machine still has an OEM glass door or an unknown aftermarket panel, send the door thickness, existing hole pattern, and photos through our contact page.

Browse other skid steer cab accessories when the enclosure also needs lighting, heat, or rear visibility.

Frequently asked questions

Will this replace any factory wiper motor?

No. It is an aftermarket kit for compatible polycarbonate doors, not a universal OEM replacement.

How long is the blade?

The supplied blade is 13-3/4 inches long, with an arm adjustable from 11 to 15 inches.

Where is the switch?

The on/off toggle is located on the operator-facing back of the motor.

  • Hello. I have a 1998 Bobcat 773 F series skid steer with the older rectangular lights. Do you offer a complete cab enclosure for this model? If so, could I run 2 of your cab heaters in it? Thank you!

We carry a kit for your Bobcat 773 F-Series Full cab enclosure system (includes front door and 2 side windows)  It comes with everything you need to get fully installed, including all hardware, fasteners, weather sealing gaskets, door handles, keys, hinges, etc. **Shipping is also included in the quoted price to the lower 48 states.** Our doors are made of 1/2 inch thick Lexan poly-carbonate plastic.  They are nearly indestructible!  In fact, we guarantee them for life under normal usage. Additionally, we also make a 12 volt windshield wiper kit and heater kit that are designed to work nicely with our kits, which you can add if you like. Give us a call to order today, or you can order online at www.skidsteercabs.com as well too. ** You could run 2 heaters if you wanted to, but most customers only order one and from the feedback we receive, one heater seems to be just fine.**

  • I have a Case 1845c that I want the cab enclosure, heat, and wiper kit. Just want to make sure it will all work.

    Morning!
Yep, everything will work great! The main thing to be aware of is that you will have to drill new holes for the new hardware that we send with your kit...we do include a tap for that part! We also will reach out for a picture or two of your machine after you order and before we ship just to confirm everything.  It is all in stock, and you should get it in about 7-10 business days. Let me know if you have any more questions!
    Thanks,
    Nathan

  • Do you have a wiper kit to work with a Mustang 940 skid steer? It came with one, but the splined shaft is bent as it exits the cab and the wiper arm is missing.

    Hi,
The wiper kit I offer is meant to be used in polycarbonate doors, and we usually drill the holes in poly kits we ship out from here, or customers drill new holes themselves. I'm 99% sure that it's a different motor and bolt hole set up than Mustang would have had in their glass, so probably won't work. I would check with a dealer to see if they can order one based on your Serial number.
    Thanks!
