Product Description

Haugen Hook-Over Bucket Forks

Add removable fork capability to a compatible tractor-loader, tractor-loader-backhoe, or wheel-loader bucket. Haugen Hook-Over Bucket Forks use forged, adjustable tines that hang from welded bucket hooks, with the fork heel riding along the bucket cutting edge.

Thirteen models cover listed lift capacities from 1,500 to 28,000 lb. Choose by the machine, bucket opening, required tine spread, tine length, and rated capacity; capacity alone is not enough. The bucket, carrier, mounting points, load center, and jobsite conditions can all reduce the usable limit.

How the system mounts

The mounting hooks are welded to the bucket, allowing the operator to install or remove the fork assembly when the job changes. Have the hook locations and bucket structure reviewed before installation. Mounting work should be performed to Haugen's instructions by a qualified welder.

  • Fully forged fork tines.
  • Adjustable tine spacing within the selected model's listed spread.
  • Hook-over attachment for quicker changeover after the bucket hooks are installed.
  • Models for bucket openings up to 24, 42, 51, 60, 69, or 77 in.

Back height, shaft diameter, and bracket count also vary by model. Verify the complete specification set with SSC before ordering, especially when choosing between an S and non-S model.

Before ordering

  • Measure the bucket opening and confirm the cutting edge and bucket condition.
  • Check the carrier's rated operating capacity and the effect of the load center.
  • Confirm the required tine length and spread for the loads being handled.
  • Plan the welded-hook installation before the forks arrive.

Frequently asked questions

Do these forks clamp to the bucket edge?

No. They hang from hooks welded to the bucket, and the heel rides along the cutting edge.

Can I use the fork model's full listed capacity on any loader?

No. Never exceed the lowest limit in the complete system, including the carrier, bucket, hooks, forks, and the rating at the actual load center.

What measurements should I send SSC?

Send the machine model, bucket width and opening, cutting edge photos, target load, required spread, and preferred tine length through the SSC contact page.
