Product Description
Backfill and compact narrow utility trenches without stopping to swap attachments. The ECHO SSCW uses skid-steer downforce and a single non-powered wheel to move material into the trench, reach below the frame, and compact as the machine rolls.
Product highlights
- Choose the compact 29-inch wheel or the 48-inch deep-trench wheel.
- The 48-inch wheel is designed to compact a 6-inch-wide trench up to about 24 inches deep before the frame contacts the trench sides.
- The legacy compact wheel supports wider trench work and reaches substantially deeper than a conventional plate compactor.
- Non-powered operation uses machine weight and boom or loader downforce, with no auxiliary-hydraulic connection.
- The wheel can scrape backfill into the trench and compact it in the same pass.
Fitment and ordering
Confirm the selected wheel size, trench width and depth, host-machine operating weight, quick-attach or excavator pin-on interface, and available downforce before ordering. Mount details must be reviewed before fabrication or release.
Freight and support
This attachment ships by freight from ECHO in Sumner, Iowa. The checkout rate is a high-side production estimate for the lower 48 states based on the selected wheel. Skid Steer Cabs will confirm commercial access, liftgate needs, limited-access service, and final logistics before shipment. Contact us for Alaska, Hawaii, or remote-location delivery.
ECHO attachments are backed by a two-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Wear items, misuse, improper installation, and operation outside the recommended specifications are excluded.
