Product Description
The Eterra Hurricane Skid Steer Concrete Mixer turns a skid steer or compact track loader into a mobile mixing, carrying, and pouring system for fence posts, pads, footings, flatwork touch-ups, trench backfill, and remote jobsite pours. Scoop material, mix on the move or in place, and dispense from the machine without staging a separate mixer at every pour location.
Mix, Carry, And Pour From The Loader
The Hurricane series combines a heavy-duty mixer tub, enclosed chain drive, Hardox 400 paddles, and multiple discharge options so operators can work efficiently with concrete, grout, mortar, and similar jobsite materials. The center discharge chute is hydraulically controlled through a 12V solenoid, while the side chute uses a manual lever for controlled pouring with a ground assistant.

Controller Options
Select the attachment controller that matches your loader when you need in-cab control of the hydraulic center discharge chute. Choose no controller only when you already have the correct compatible control setup. Available controller options include Standard Switch Controls, 14-Pin, 8-Pin, and Bobcat 7-Pin.
Fitment Notes
Confirm auxiliary hydraulic flow, pressure, electrical control compatibility, coupler style, and rated operating capacity before ordering. The Hurricane mixers are rated for 11 to 22 GPM operation. A machine may exceed 22 GPM, but the mixer should not be run at full RPM above the rated operating range.

How do you get the concrete out of the mixer when ready to pour?
The BMX mixers provide 3 different ways to pour concrete. You can use the attachment controller to open/close a gate for the center discharge chute (use with discharge tubing). You can also have a helper operate a manual gate on the side of the attachment for trough discharge. Finally, you can also dump the concrete out of the hopper with the machine for a bulk pour.

Do the BMX concrete mixer attachments require standard-flow or high-flow auxiliary hydraulics?
All of the BMX concrete mixers operate on standard-flow hydraulics, just be sure to choose the correct size for your skid steer. Give us a call if you need help deciding!
