Komatsu 8, 10 and 11 Series Polycarbonate Windshield
Replace the upper or lower front glass on listed Komatsu excavators with a flat, clear polycarbonate panel. Choose 20Y-53-11520 for the upper windshield or 20Y-53-11611 for the lower windshield, then select 1/4, 3/8, or 1/2 in. thickness. Each position is sold separately.

The upper and lower panels are both flat, but they are different parts and cannot be selected by size alone. Read the glass number from the Komatsu parts record and confirm the cab position before adding a variant to the cart.

What comes with the selected panel?
The order includes one polycarbonate windshield for the selected upper or lower position and thickness. SUPERCOAT is applied to both sides for abrasion and UV resistance. Mounting hardware is not included. Existing hardware can be reused only when it is complete, serviceable, and compatible with the chosen thickness.
What should be confirmed before installation?
Verify the full model, series, serial number, windshield position, and Komatsu glass number. Inspect the frame, seals, latches, wiper path, and retained hardware. A thicker panel can require a different fastener stack or adjustment even when the hole pattern matches. Follow the supplied care instructions and avoid overtightening polycarbonate. If the plate or parts book does not make the choice clear, send SSC photos and the serial number through our contact page.
