New Holland D-Series Pro-Series Cab Enclosure
Put an open New Holland D-Series loader back into cold-weather service with a formed 1/2-inch Lexan polycarbonate front door, locking hardware, seals, and a complete retrofit mounting package. Choose Door Only for frontal coverage or Door + Side Windows for the same door plus fitted stationary side panels.
This enclosure is for a machine that does not have a usable factory door system. It does not depend on an OEM door frame, and existing factory framing or incompatible aftermarket parts may need to be removed before installation.
Current model coverage
SSC's current product record covers New Holland L160, L170, L175, L180, and L185; LS160, LS170, LS180, and LS190; LX665, LX865, LX885, and LX985; and C175, C185, C190, and Z190.
Do not order from the D-Series label alone. SSC has separately documented that an LS150 is not covered by this hard enclosure. Newer L-Series and Alpha machines also have their own enclosure paths.
What style are the headlights, round or square? On an L or LS machine, are the ROPS mounting holes square or angled downward like a trapezoid? Record those details and send cab photos through our contact page when the configuration is uncertain.
Door Only or Door + Side Windows
- Formed 1/2-inch Lexan polycarbonate front door.
- Locking handle and keys, interior pull, hinges, latch, striker, thresholds, perimeter seals, fasteners, and related mounting parts.
- Stationary polycarbonate side panels and their seals/hardware when Door + Side Windows is selected.
The side panels do not slide. A roof panel and rear window are not included in either standard configuration. Compare other New Holland enclosure systems if the plate or cab style falls outside the model list above.
Installation planning
This retrofit requires new holes for hinges and may require additional holes for thresholds and the striker. The kit includes the drill/tap needed for the specified holes. Many prepared installations take about one to two hours with basic hand tools, though corrosion, old hardware, or cab changes can add time.
Square the door in the ROPS opening before tightening the hinges, then set the striker and seals so the latch closes without forcing the panel. Review the Pro-Series installation guide before starting.
Frequently asked questions
Does this kit require a factory door frame?
No. It is a full aftermarket retrofit for an open cab, and an existing factory frame may need to be removed.
Does it fit a New Holland LS150?
No. SSC has directed LS150 owners to a soft enclosure rather than this hard Pro-Series kit.
Can the side windows open?
No. The optional side panels are stationary and bolt into place.

Wondering the approximate install time for a door and window kit with a wiper and heater in a New Holland L218.
Hi! You should plan on 3-5 hours total for installing those 3 items, in our opinion.

I have a New Holland LS150, with the white and amber lights. It currently does not have a cab enclosure. Does this kit include all of the mounting hardware/frame/etc?

Does your replacement door require an existing door frame. I have a new holland LS180 currently with no door
Hello,
Our enclosure kits like this do not require an existing door frame, and if you have one currently, you would have to remove it. The kit ships with a 1/2" polycarbonate door, which is very thick and strong, so doesn't need a tradiontial frame. In addition to the door we send it with the handle, hinges, weather-seal, and all other required hardware for your model. Let me know if you have any more questions!
