Bobcat E-Series Polycarbonate Excavator Windshields
Replace a broken upper or lower Bobcat excavator windshield with a clear, formed polycarbonate panel matched to the glass number on the machine. These polycarbonate panels are coated on both sides for abrasion resistance and offered in 1/4-, 3/8-, and 1/2-inch thicknesses where shown in the option menu.
Bobcat used different upper and lower glass numbers across M- and R-Series E excavators, with serial-number changes inside some model families. Match the glass number first, then choose the panel position and thickness.
Options Available on This Page
- Upper 7250149: 1/4, 3/8, or 1/2 inch.
- Lower 7250150: 1/4, 3/8, or 1/2 inch.
- Lower 7179045: 1/4, 3/8, or 1/2 inch.
Manufacturer fitment material associates 7250149 and 7250150 with R-Series applications and 7179045 with the lower M-Series panel. The related M-Series upper glass is 7209964, but that part is not currently selectable on this listing. Do not choose a different panel as a substitute. Contact SSC if you need 7209964 or another Bobcat windshield number.
Machine and Part-Number Fitment
These part-number families appear on Bobcat E25, E32, E35, E42, E45, E50, and E55 excavators, with exact use controlled by series and serial number. Bobcat's current 7250149 record also lists several E32-E55 applications. Use the online Bobcat parts catalog or a dealer parts diagram for the machine serial number before ordering.
The panel is machined around the original-style shape, edge, and hardware locations so serviceable factory hardware can be transferred. Hardware, frame parts, seals, handles, and latches are not included. A thicker panel may require longer fasteners or a different seal arrangement.
Choose the Thickness
The 1/4-inch option stays closer to a thinner factory-glass replacement. The 3/8- and 1/2-inch panels add material for brush, land clearing, demolition, and other debris-heavy work. Confirm that the frame, fasteners, wiper clearance, and seals can accept the selected thickness.
Clean coated polycarbonate with compatible products and a soft, clean cloth. Rinse loose grit before wiping; do not use glass cleaners or solvents unless they are approved for polycarbonate.
