Bobcat C/F-Series Pro-Series Cab Enclosure
Close in an open older Bobcat with a formed 1/2-inch Lexan polycarbonate front door, locking hardware, seals, and the parts needed for a full retrofit. The Pro-Series kit adds a hard barrier against cold wind, precipitation, brush, and loose jobsite material without depending on a complete factory door system.
Order Door Only for the front door and mounting package, or select Door + Side Windows to add fitted stationary panels. You must also choose the loader's bucket-cylinder layout: one cylinder centered behind the bucket or two cylinders, one on each side.
C-Series and F-Series fitment
C-Series: 542B, 543, 543B, and 743.
F-Series: 553, 743, 751, 753, 763, 773, 853, 863, and 873. SSC's fitment record identifies these as the 1991–1999 F-Series machines.
The 743 appears in both groups, and older machines may have cab or lighting differences that are not obvious from a model number. Check the plate, count the bucket cylinders, and compare the cab opening with the product photos. Has the ROPS been modified? Is old door hardware still installed? Send photos through our contact page when anything is unclear.
What comes with the selected configuration
- Formed 1/2-inch Lexan polycarbonate front door.
- Locking exterior handle and keys, interior pull, hinges, latch, striker, thresholds, perimeter seals, fasteners, and related mounting hardware.
- Stationary polycarbonate side panels, seals, and mounting hardware with Door + Side Windows.
The side panels do not slide. A roof panel and rear window are not included. C/F rear-window openings have serial-number breaks, so measure the opening rather than assuming one rear panel fits every loader. Check SSC's polycarbonate skid steer windows for model-specific and custom-order paths.
Installation notes
Most C/F-Series installations can use the original factory hinge location for door placement. A tap tool is supplied for holes that still need to be prepared, and the new striker mounts to the ROPS for latch alignment. Plan to remove conflicting hardware, square the door, set the hinges, and adjust the striker before tightening the seals and thresholds.
Many installations take roughly one to two hours once the cab is prepared, though corrosion, old holes, and prior modifications can add time. Review the Pro-Series installation guide before starting.
Frequently asked questions
Why do I have to choose a bucket-cylinder layout?
The one-center-cylinder and two-side-cylinder loaders use different cab geometry. Choose what is physically on the machine.
Will the side windows open?
No. The optional panels are stationary and bolt into place.
Is this an OEM replacement door?
No. It is an aftermarket retrofit kit for an open cab. Contact SSC before ordering when factory framing, sensors, wiring, or door hardware remains.

Is this the complete cab or just door
Hello! This kit is meant to be installed on a machine that has never had OEM kit installed, the door kit comes with the door, hinges, handle, seal, and everything else you will need to install. You can also add the side windows for slightly extra, they are stationary and come with hardware and seal!

What about the top
Hi Frank,
Some models may have a window in the roof for seeing the bucket when raised. If this is the case, we would need the dimensions of the area and would send the dimensions and a picture of your machine to the shop. In most cases, we can custom make a polycarbonate window for the roof too!

I have a 1993 bobcat 773, it does not have the triangular shaped headlights nor the jut out parts on the front top of cab as shown in your pictures. It is just flat across the front with 2 rectangular front lights. Do you make an enclosure to fit this?

DO YOU MAKE SIDE WINDOWS THAT SLIDE OPEN FOR YOUR FRONT/SIDE WINDOW KIT ON 1996 BOBCAT 751 OR ARE ALL YOUR SIDE WINDOWS STATIONARY?

I have an 853 Bobcat skid. Does the window unit open and close? and does it mount to the inside or outside?
Hi - the side window units do not open or close. They are solid panels that are mounted using nuts and bolts around the perimeter. They get installed on the inside of the ROPS cage.

does this come with the rear window also?
The kit does not include a rear window, however we sell those as well if you need one. They are manufactured using the same durable poly-carbonate plastic material, and come as a kit which includes the factory rubber molding / gasket and safety cord. For C/F series machines, there were some serial number breaks, so I would need to ask you to measure the size of your opening and send it to us if you decide to buy the rear window kit.
