John Deere G-Series Excavator Windshield Panels
Replace the damaged upper or lower front windshield panel on a John Deere G-series excavator with coated polycarbonate. This listing covers two different cab positions: upper panel T396393 and lower panel T396635. Select the position and thickness that match the glass being removed.
One panel per selection
The “Upper” option supplies the panel shaped around John Deere number T396393. The “Lower” option supplies the smaller panel associated with T396635. They are not sold as a two-piece set in one selection. Both positions are listed for G-series 85, 130, 160, 180, 190, 210, 250, 290, 300, 350, 380, 470, 670, and 870 excavators. Model family alone is not enough for every machine; compare the OEM number and front-cab position before ordering.
Thickness and tint choices
Upper and lower panels are available in 1/4-inch, 3/8-inch, and 1/2-inch clear polycarbonate. A 1/2-inch tinted option is also listed for each position. The panels are formed around the factory glass pattern, milled at the edges, and coated on both sides for abrasion resistance. Thicker material can require longer bolts when it replaces 1/4-inch glass.
Reuse the existing cab parts
The selected polycarbonate panel arrives without the door frame, seal, hinges, latch, handle, wiper assembly, or mounting hardware. Transfer only serviceable parts from the existing assembly. Before installation, inspect the seal channel and mounting points, then compare the new panel with the opening without removing protective film. Product photos are representative and may not show the exact upper or lower configuration for every model.
