Cat 307E and 308E Polycarbonate Windshield Panels
Replace the upper or lower front glass on select Cat 307E and 308E excavators with a flat, clear polycarbonate panel made for the original opening. This listing covers the 307E, 307E2, 308E CR, and 308E2 CR and offers both windshield positions in 1/4-, 3/8-, and 1/2-inch thicknesses.
Choose by panel position and glass number before choosing thickness. The upper windshield replaces 419-1289; the lower windshield replaces 419-9586. Upper and lower are separate selections, not a two-piece set.

Both panels in this product family are flat. Cat used other upper and lower glass numbers on nearby 308 configurations, so do not order from the 307/308 series name alone. Check the number on the existing glass or confirm it from the machine serial number.
Choose a thickness
Each option is cut from clear polycarbonate and treated with SUPERCOAT abrasion-resistant protection on both sides. The 1/4-inch option is closest to a thin factory-glass replacement. The 3/8- and 1/2-inch choices add material for brush, limb, and debris exposure. Moving from thin glass to a thicker panel may require longer mounting bolts.
Wash the panel with water, mild soap, and a soft cloth. Rinse loose dirt before wiping and use only cleaners approved for coated polycarbonate.
Panel-only replacement
The selected upper or lower panel is included. Mounting hardware, seals, handles, wipers, and the surrounding frame are not included. Reuse serviceable OEM components where the current cab arrangement allows it, and replace bent or worn hardware before aligning the new panel.

Which panel replaces Cat 419-9586?
419-9586 is the flat lower windshield. The upper windshield is 419-1289.
Is the seal included?
No. This is a replacement panel only. Inspect the current seal, frame, and mounting hardware before ordering.
