What is included

One formed 1/2 in Lexan polycarbonate front door panel cut for this Caterpillar machine group.
1/2 in bulb-seal gasket for the front door perimeter.
High-impact exterior handle with tumbler lock and coded keys.
Locking latch, spring-loaded release handle, stainless interior pull handle, striker bolt/plate, and universal male/female hinge hardware.
Thresholds, mounting hardware, seals, and fasteners required for the selected kit.
Door + Side Windows only: stationary 1/8 in polycarbonate side panels with neoprene gasket/seal hardware. The side panels can be unbolted for warm-weather operation.

Top and rear windows are not included with the standard Door Only Kit or Door + Side Windows option.

Installation notes

This is an aftermarket retrofit enclosure, not an OEM replacement door system.
It is not designed to reuse OEM door sensors, OEM door frames, or existing OEM door hardware.
Prior door, frame, hinge, threshold, or aftermarket components may need to be removed before installation.
Plan on aligning the supplied hinges, latch, striker plate, seals, and thresholds during install. Cab condition and previous hardware determine whether drilling, tapping, or additional bolting is needed.
Most installs can be completed in about 1-2 hours with basic tools once the cab is prepared and the parts are laid out.

Warranty coverage

The Lexan polycarbonate front door is covered by our limited lifetime breakage warranty for the original owner during normal, non-abusive operation. If the covered polycarbonate door panel breaks under those conditions, the warranty provides one replacement panel. Hardware and optional equipment are covered for 3 months. Warranty terms, misuse exclusions, installation damage, wear items, and return conditions apply.

Our side windows are stationary, but you can remove the bolts and detach the windows for summer use if you wish!

Do you have a blower motor for a 277 b and all the seals/ gaskets and rubber cab mounts for the same machine

Hi - we do not sell a factory replacement blower motor for your 277B, however we do sell an electric heater that is general purpose and could be installed. As far as seals / gaskets / mounting hardware, that stuff is included as needed with our door kits, if you buy one. Otherwise, we do not sell factory replacement parts - if that is what you are asking.

The windows and door are sealed, and go up tight against the ROPs, we have guys who have gotten these kits specifically for going after yellow jackets and ground hornets in their machines. How does the door sensor work since mine is on the opposite side of my wiring connector for the door sensor? I have a 267b.

Hello! Thanks so much for reaching out. Our kits are aftermarket, and don't work with the safety sensors that some OEM doors come with. With that said, our doors are the 1/2" polycarbonte and attach with a simple male to female pin hinge. In the even an operator lifts the arms up with the door open, it will just slide off the hinges. Even if they jam, the hinge bases are plastic, and will snap under enough preasure, still saving the door. Let me know if you have any more questions!

I have a CAT 236B with the open ROPS. We would like to buy your kit to enclose the cab for winter use. How does your door kit seal on the top & bottom. The sides seal against the side posts but I cannot see how it would seal on top & bottom.
